A wooden sign with a Spotify code you can actually scan. It took more than five different machines in the woodshop.

The idea
I listen to music constantly, so this felt like the right project to bring that into the woodshop. I liked the Spotify code because it does something. Point your phone at it and the song plays.
Process
I went through more than five machines to make it, from prepping the wood to cutting the final shape and adding the code. The code was the hard part. The height of each bar is what tells Spotify which song it is, so if I was off by much it wouldn't scan.
Takeaway
It was good practice planning a project that moves across a lot of machines, and the first time I scanned it and the song came up was really satisfying.
