Where it started
It's a small project, but everything else on this page kind of goes back to this pen.
Process
I put a wood blank on the lathe and turned it down to shape. Then I sanded it while it spun, put a finish on, and pressed the pen hardware together.
What I learned
Mostly how to hold the tools steady and work safely at the lathe. I was also surprised by how much the finish changed the way it looked.
