The concept
My teammates and I placed 2nd in the cardiovascular track. Our idea was to add features to Medtronic’s MyCareLink app so patients can see their own data, understand what’s going on with their heart, build better habits, and stay in touch with their care team more easily.
What I took away
I usually think about devices as hardware, so this was a good push to think about everything around them: what the patient goes through, how clinics actually work, and who we’re really designing for.
